With the aid of laser technology, the 4.2 mile long tunnel was perfectly aligned, breaking out of the mountain and hitting the "bullseye" indicated in-dicated by the metal strips. The job was completed com-pleted one year and four months ahead of schedule. Hades Tunnel is located 34 miles northwest nor-thwest of the town of Duchesne. i " -mm 1 mm ; m i t |
