Show Four Injured in , As ftlsny Accidents; Four local people were involved in-volved in accidents during- the past week. Mrs. Delia Spencer broke her wrist in two places; Steven Malner mangled his fingers fin-gers in a corn chopper; a blower blow-er spout came off and hit Ther-on Ther-on Horrocks on the head while he was under a machine fixing it; and Mert was in an automobile accident which occurred oc-curred at Ballard when the car in which she and a group of boys were riding went off a bridge. Mr. and Mrs. Lono Marx and baby boy,- of Los Angeles, visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bastian. They came to attend the LDS conference in Salt Lake and came out here to visit vis-it for a few days before returning return-ing home. Mr. Marx is Mrs. Bas-tian's Bas-tian's brother. i Mr. and Mrs. Percel Seeley, of Spanish Fork, visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Deone- Spencer. Mrs. Lois Leavitt and girls have been visiting in Salt Lake and Provo with her mother, Mrs. Arthur Hutcheon, and with Mrs. Beth Schoells, of Provo. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Eskelson are his brother broth-er and mother from Idaho. The Ladies Auxiliary meeting was held at Fern Peterson's place Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. James -O. Peterson Peter-son has been visiting with his son and granddaughter in Salt Lake and Provo for three weeks. Mrs. Lila Wilson, of White-rocks, White-rocks, visited her mother and father. Mr. and Mrs. Dase Mitchell, Mit-chell, on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. William Mitchell vacationed in Washington and California recently. They also visited with their son, Buster. Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Spencer, of Kaysville, visited with his mother, Mrs. Delia Spencer, during dur-ing the week. Mary Jane and Tommy An-derton An-derton are" new students in Neola. Ne-ola. They formerly attended school at Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. ' Elden Ander-ton. Ander-ton. of Tridell, and Mrs. Calvin Anderton spent Friday at the Ronald Eksund place. Mr. and Mrs. Frances Crozier are planning to move to the Albert Al-bert Smith place in Whiterocks in the near future. Mr. Smith is Mrs. Crozier's father. Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle attended at-tended a managers meeting in Salt Lake Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jensen went to Salt Lake to attend conference. |
