Grant Morisen is the superintendent. Dwane Young was released as first counselor when he joined the U. S. Air Force the first of September, and Perry Maxfield was released- as 2nd counselor whe'n he left to attend Brigham Young University at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Foote, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Dupoint, their daughter, Maurine, and son, James, of Salt Lake City, spent last week with Mrs. Foote's mother, Mrs. Mary Bow-den, Bow-den, and her brothers Clinton and Louie1 Bowden. Mrs. Marian Reese, Mrs. Nancy Nan-cy Bristol and Mrs. Margaret Maxfield attended the Daughters Daugh-ters of Utah Pioneers convention conven-tion at Naples in Vernal, Saturday. Satur-day. Mrs. Ethel Fisher, Mrs. Elva Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fisher Fish-er were called to Wellington Saturday by the illness of Mrs. Tillie Anderson. Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Ethel Fisher arer sisters. sis-ters. Mrs. Anderson is Mrs. Sny-ders Sny-ders sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hayes and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with Mrs. Hayes parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler. Mrs. Charles Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton, of Roosevelt, visited their daughter daugh-ter and sister, Mrs. Keith Sny i der, one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone and family, of Duche'sne, visited with Mrs. Stone's parents, Mr and Mrs. Clarence Smith, during dur-ing the weekend. JaVar Timothy, of Bononza, spent the weekend with relatives rela-tives here. |
