Show Ellen Bracken 4th Elders Group Has Social Here The 4th Quorum of Elders of the Roosevelt Stake of the LDS Church held a social at the Ballard chapel Wednesday evening, eve-ning, Oct. 1. There were 18 couples from Ballard and three couples from other wards present. pres-ent. Games were played, supervised supervis-ed by Dean Frandsen, and a program was given under the supervision of Spencer Squire. A delicious lunch was served by the women, after which most of the crowd joined in square dancing. Mrs. Rhoda Turner has" gone to Moab, where she plans to spend the winter at the home of a son. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Allrsd and two children have moved into the Jack Allred home near the- Ballard Church. Mrs. Wilson Gutzman, of Ft. Duchesne, who has been acting as a substitute teacher at Al-' Al-' terra School, resigned her position po-sition on Tuesday. Mrs. Thero.1 Horrocks, of Neola, taught a few days in her place. Mrs. Zina Pe'arce, of Salt Lake City, who' has been vis iting at the home of her son and daughter-in-law for sometime, some-time, has returned to her home. Due to P T A meeting at Al-terra Al-terra on Thursday evening of last week, no square dance was held at Ballard.
