Show Republican Club To Hear Gen. Eisenhower Officers of the Republican Women's organization met Tuesday Tues-day at the home of Mrs. J. V. McLea to further formulate plans for their campaign. Bearing- out the slogan, "Friday "Fri-day Night is Republican Night," the group will line up several carloads of Republican workers to drive to Salt Lake City next Friday, October 17, to listen co General Dwight D. Eisenhower, Republican candidate for national na-tional president. Among enthusiastic Republicans Republi-cans planning to make the trip are Mayor J. V. McLea. Republican Repub-lican county chairman, and Mrs. McLea; Mr. and Mrs. Wilford McConkie and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Aycock. Mrs. McConkie McCon-kie is chairwoman of all Republican Re-publican Women's clubs in the county, and Mr. Aycock is county coun-ty secretary. Next week the committee has designated Tuesday as Republican Republi-can Day for that week, to coincide coin-cide with registration day. Workers have been assigned to make a house to house canvass to merely make assurance that everyone is registered, emphasizing' empha-sizing' that no matter what political po-litical belief an individual has, he should exercise his right to vote. Workers will convene at the home of Mrs. Howarj, Harrison Har-rison Tuesday afternoon to ou -line their two-hour drive, of which Mrs. McConkie is chairman. chair-man. Workers who will participate in this phase of the program are Mrs. McConkie, Mrs. R. S. Jordan, Jor-dan, Mrs. Paul Stringham. Mrs. George Stewart, Mrs. Ned Bel-Ion, Bel-Ion, Mrs. Horace Allred, Mrs. Theron Leavitt, Mrs. Clair Lar-sen. Lar-sen.
