Dalley with remarks by Bishop Cleo M. Petty. The benediction was offered by Arthur S. Pryor and Boyd Hallman dedicated the grave followed by military services by the American Legion Post No. 74 and the Cedar City VFW. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. George Milton Sevy 59, died Feb. 12, 1980 of a heart attack. Born Oct. 11, 1920 in Layton, Uah to Lyman E. and Elizabeth Stevenson Sevy. Married Irene Lyman Oct. 3, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ. the marriage was later solomnized in the St. George Temple. Milt attended the Iron County Schools and BAC for two years. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in the Second Ward Bishopric. He was a veteran of World War II serving as Major and a pilot Squadron Copmmander in the South Pacific. At present he was working for Job Service in Cedar City serving as the . Veterans Representative Interviewer. He is survived by his wife Irene of Cedar City; sons and daughters; Mrs. Arthur (Ann) Pryor, Steven Milton Sevy and Lyman M. Sevy all of Cedar City; Mrs. Dee (Janet) Williamson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Boyd (Francie) Hallman of Pleasant Grove, UT and Mrs. Richard (Pat) Gardner of Ogden. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and . a daughter Elaine preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Saturday, Satur-day, Feb. 16, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar Second LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Cleo M. George Milton Sevy Petty conducting. The family prayer was offered by Dee James Wiliamson with Janet Knell playing the prelude, postlude music and Roy P. Urie gave the invocation. in-vocation. Musical selections consisted of the ward choir singing "0, My Father", "Peace I Leave With You" and "Abide With Me" acc. by Mary Jane Seaman and Douglas Knell was the |
