Show Reva Webster, 75, Active Church Worker dies; Honored at Services Funeral services for Reva Roundy Webster, 75 were held Tuesday, February 19, 1980 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar 4th LDS Ward Chapel. Mrs. Webster was born February 21, 1904 in Kanarraville to Joel Jesse and Sarah Caterine Stapley Roundy. She married George Burdett Webster September 10, 1928 in Parowan. They were later solomnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death April 9, 1979. She was a very active member of the LDS church, serving in the Primary organizaton for 17 years and in the Relief Society Presidency. She was a Relief Society Visiting teacher at time of her death. She attended schools in Kanarraville, Hurricane and Cedar City. She also attended BAC. Mrs. Webster loved to make quilts and work in her home. Survivors include three conducted funeral services. Judith Kenney rendered the prelude . and postlude music. Family prayer was given by Michael Webster. Zona Jensen. Anita Whitt-wer, Whitt-wer, Rayola Norton and Lucille Huphs sang "Abide With Me, Tis Eventide". Invocation was offered by Gay Hall with Barbara Shakespeare giving an eulogy. Phyllis Mendcnhall sang ,lThat Wonderful Mother of Mine". She was accompanied ' by Judity Kenney. Speakers were Rex Sylvester and Bishop Wallace K. Smith. Tyler Webster sang, "Three Times a Lady"-. Delias Imlay gave the benediction. Pallbearers were grandsons, grand-sons, dedication of the grave was by Richard Webster in the Cedar City Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. REVA R. WEBSTER sons and one daughter: Dono R., Joel and Mrs. Carl (Reba Anne) Wiate all of Cedar City, Kent of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Karl G. Roundy of Hurricane, Mrs. Ellis (Estella) Russell and Mrs. Reha LeFevre, both of St. George. Bishop Wallace K. Smith |
