Show 4-H CLUB NEWS .... BUSY STITCHERS ROOSEVELT The Busy Stitchers. Stitch-ers. 4-H Club enjoyed a swimming party Monday evening at Dye's Pool, chaperoned by their leaders, . Nancy Rockwood and Carol Mem-mott.. Mem-mott.. Members joining in the outing out-ing were Kay Labrum, Margaret Carlson, Helen Robbins and Lynne Wilkins. h-h-h-h HOMEMAKERS ROOSEVELT During July 27, 28 and 29, all 4-H'ers in Duchesxie County held their 4-H Club camp in Uinta Canyon. The Roosevelt Homemakers met at Uinta Canyon Can-yon with other 4-H Clubs about 9:00 a.m. They got unloaded and set up camp. During the three-day encampment encamp-ment there was hiking, handicraft, sports and many other activities. On the last day, the awards, were given. The Roosevelt Homemakers received 2nd prize on the best skit and 3rd prize on the scavenger scaven-ger hunt. The encampment ended July 29 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Linda Schmiett, Reporter |
