Show Till DELL Lorna McKee Enjoy Camporee The Tridell MIA enjoyed a camporee held at Jolley's Corner, Tuesday night. Many fun games were played and a nice lunch was cooked in tin foil- Mrs. Grant Betts is sports director. Visiting at the William K. Harvey Har-vey home over the weekend were Flora Harvey from Salt Lake and Morlan Harvey, from Baggs, Wyo, Mrs. Verl Averett and children, of Hermosa, Calif., are visiting the Rae Goodrichs. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich went to Salt Lake, Tuesday, returning re-turning Thursday. Mr. Goodrich received medical care for his eye while he was there. Mrs. Enes Hatch and family, of Vernal, spent Sunday visiting at the Owen Goodrichs'. Visiting at the Neil Borup home is Rhienhold Griesch from Chicago. Chi-cago. Mr. Griesch is Mrs. Borup's father. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Cook have received word that the 7-months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. De-ward De-ward Cook of California, recently underwent an operation on the skull. Spending the weekend visiting with their parents, were Marta Morrill and Joan Ross- Both are employed in Roosevelt. ATTEND 4-H CAMP Attending the 4-H three-day encampment at Uintah Canyon were Kay Morrill, Sherlene Harvey, Har-vey, Alice Glines, Peggy Simmons and LaDonna and Lorene McKee. Mrs. Grant Betts, club leader, accompanied ac-companied the girls on this trip. Kay Morrill and Gwenna McKee took first place in first aid technique. tech-nique. Visiting at Sunday School and Sacrament meeting, Sunday, were Harmon Sowards, Lynn Murdock and Jesse Haws from Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Rae Goodrich made a business trip to Colorado during the week. Mrs. Dennis Goodrich will make her home in Tridell for the next few months. Mrs. Goodrich has been visiting with her family, the Clarence Bowdens, in Salt Lake, j Visiting at the H. LeRoy Morrill i home during the week has been the Norwood Hardy family from Logan, and Brent Morrill, who is now in the armed forces. The William K. Harvey family had a family dinner at the Bill Hoops' home Saturday. The occasion oc-casion was the birthday of Mrs. Harvey. The Tridell Primary presented a very interesting conjoint program pro-gram Sunday night. Service awards were presented to Jennis i A number of people from Tridell Tri-dell attended the UJB.I.C. programs held at Roosevelt. Participating from here were Marta Morrill and George Glines. Betts and Thelma McKee. All of the teachers were presented with a lovely corsage. Mrs. Bill Workman and children, chil-dren, of Rangely, are visiting in Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. Laren Ross have just received word that they have a new grandson, born to the Garth Ross' of Bountiful, Aug. 8. |
