Prince, Princess Chosen At UBIC Baby Show Little Diane Miles, four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Miles, was crowned Princess at the UBIC final baby contest, and Edward Freston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Freston, was crowned crown-ed Prince with a Davy Crockett crown. The pair also won first place in the four-year-old division. Both are from Roosevelt. Cindy Lee Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthon B. Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, and Paul D. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Venil Johnson, both from Roosevelt, were named first place winners in the one-year-old group. General chairman for the baby show was Mrs. D. G. Mantyla. Accompanists Ac-companists were Laura Ann Leav-itt Leav-itt and Linda Schmiett and the judges were Minnie B.. Sorensen and Elva K. Miller, members of the Primary LDS General Board, and Ora Holgate of Arcadia. The judges all made the expression that the judging was the hardest task they had ever had, with so many beautiful children as entrants. |
