Show WITNESS MARRIAGE Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roberts and son, Mark, left Friday for St. George, where they visited relatives, rela-tives, and attended the wedding of their niece, LaDawn Porter, who became the bride of Deloy Gubler, Saturday. The marriage: vows were spoken in a ceremony at the St. George. LDS Temple. Miss Lois Davis and Mrs. Effie Mercer, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell. Mrs. Albert Passic and children, of Price, arrived Monday to visit at the home of Mr.' and Mrs. Rol-len Rol-len Duke, her uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles and children returned last week from a vacation trip to Colorado, where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Monks at their ranch home near Craig. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Church took their granddaughter, Marilyn Mari-lyn McDonald, to her home at Kanab last week. Mr. Church returned re-turned home, while his wife remained re-mained for a longer visit, arriving arriv-ing home Friday, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brown, who returned re-turned to Kanab, Friday. Dr. and. Mrs. Louis Uresk are visitors at the ranch home of his parents, Mr. , and Mrs. Matt Uresk, Ur-esk, Sr., arriving last week from Kenosha, Wisconsin. Dr. Uresk is practicing dentistry in Chicago and commutes to his home in Kenosha.. Mrs. Uresk is a music instructor in the Kenosha schools. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Smith and daughter, Ardith, spent a week visiting relatives in Salt Lake City, returning home Thursday. Mrs. Carlos Roberts and son, Stewart, came from Provo, Wednesday Wed-nesday to attend the UBIC. and to get her daughter, Kathy, who has. been visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Peatross. They returned re-turned to Provo, Thursday when a telephone call came that Mr. Roberts, had been rushed to the Provo Hospital for surgery, for a ruptured appendix. Latest reports re-ports are that he is getting along nicely. Emery Nielson, who has been ill for .some time, was. taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Thursday, where he is receiving medical attention. at-tention. His condition is considered consider-ed serious, but at this writing he has shown decided signs of improvement.. im-provement.. - Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Anderson and two sons arrived Sunday from Golden, Colo., called here by the illness of Mrs. Anderson's father, Emery Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Acelj Nielson and family also arrived here Sunday from Los Anamos, Colo, to be with their father and mother during Mr. Nielson's illness. ill-ness. Another daughter, Mrs. Elton El-ton Quick, is expected to arrive Tuesday from Clinton, Arkansas. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gingell, Tuesday Tues-day evening, were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gilbert, of Othello, Wash., Mrs. Rose Gilbert and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stoker and two sons, of Bingham, and Mr. and Mrs. Max Scroggin and son, of Granger, were visitors Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell. Mr. Stoker and Mrs. Scroggin are great grandchildren grand-children of Mrs. Gingell. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Church are enjoying a visit - from Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Webster,' of Cedar City, who arrived Friday. Mrs. Webster is Mrs. Church's sister. Perry Oreno has been enjoying a visit at the ranch Mome of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry, while his parents were on a vacation trip to California and Mexico. |
