Show OiiLinino Cliild Doliauiop: London Dr. Elliott Landau, nationally na-tionally known expert in the field of child psychology and children's behavior, will deliver a free public address on Changing Children's Behavior Wednesday, April 5th at 8:00 p.m. at the Davis University of Utah. DR. LANDAU'S speech is presented in connection with the Week of the Young Child, an event sponsored by the Davis County committee for the Week of the Young Child, the Utah State Board of Education, and the Davis University of Utah. Professor Landau is Professor of Child Growth and Development in the Department of Education at the University of Utah. He holds a Ph. D. in Child Development from New York University. DR. LANDAU is the author of the following books: "Just a Minute", "You and Your Child's World", "Raising Fine Families", "Today's . Family", and "Talking With Children." He is also author of two Prentice-Hall Texts, "Child i v ! ELLIOTT LANDAU Development Through Literature", Litera-ture", published in 1972, and "A Teaching Experience: An Introduction to Education Through Literature", published in"l975. HE IS heard daily in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, New York City, Kansas City, Seattle Seat-tle and Idaho Falls on radio. His program is called "You and Your Child's World". In 1968, Dr. Landau was awarded award-ed the Distinguished Teaching Award at the University of Utah commencement. com-mencement. Dr. Landau is also scheduled to teach a class in Changing Children's Behavior in Bountiful through the Davis University of Utah beginning April 7. THIS COURSE will be especially tailored for teachers and parents in daily contact with the mystifying, baffling, and sometimes terrifying aspects of children's behavior. It will treat the mental health principles regarding the problems of children, new developments in understanding understand-ing children's needs, symptoms symp-toms of disturbance, institutional institu-tional aids in the society and clinical classroom applications. applica-tions.
