Show County To Aid In Burial Cost Of Family FARMINGTON - Davis County commissioners have agreed to help pay burial costs for four members of a family that were asphyxiated in their home in Layton on Jan. 29. MARY Martinez, mother of four of the seven people who died in that accident requested request-ed help in paying a $3,000 bill still outstanding for burial costs. She receives assistance through the Division of Family Services and is not able to work. County Clerk Rodney Walker said Mrs. Martinez had requested help after she had paid $1000 on the bill through donations. She had not asked for aid from the county earlier since she hoped that additional money might be available through donations. dona-tions. THE COUNTY policy is normally to pay $235 in burial costs for any burial at county expense. But in this case commissioners agreed to follow the policy for indigent aid which allows them to pay up to 50 percent of the cost, usually for medical expenses.
