Matthew West Chidester was bom on March 8at 1 a.m. He is the third child after Carrie and Wendy and first son born to Kelly and Ginny Chidester at 2866 S. 625 W. A fifth child after 17 year old Kathy, Laurl, Dale and Jeff, was bom on March 9 to Ron and Kit Greenwell, 37 W. 3500 S. Ross was given his name and blessing on Easter Sunday with grandparents Norm and Wanda Thompson from Fairbanks, Alaska attending. at-tending. Also present were Kit's sisters and families: Robert and Sue Hull from Burley, Ida. and Roger and Kay Rawson from Hooper. Manley and Thorelle Abbott had a baby son on March 10 shortly before moving from their home at 239 W. 2600 S. March 10 was also the btrthdate of Trevor born to Jerry and Kaye Grubbs at 3003 S. 200 E. Older children in the family are Todd, Leslie and Julie. Visiting and help ing with the newborn were the grandmothers Clara Wahlquist from Cedar City and Joye Grubbs from Long-view, Long-view, Tex. Visiting for the Easter holiday with Ballard and Susan Veater at 3381 S. 50 W. from Long Beach, Calif, were Murray and Donna Carver. Another visitor for the Easter holiday and to see her daughter Pat Rathman sing-- sing-- ing with the Jay Welch Chorale for the Ballet West production of "Carmina Burana" and "Songs of the Valley" was Helen Backman from Santaquin. Welcome to Jordie and Cindy Smith who have moved in at 2711 S. 400 E. while they are waiting for their home to be finished in Maple Hills. Larry and Darlene Drury and two daughters, Jami and Dana, recently moved into their home at 2818 S. 650 E. Larry is a contractor and has built several of the homes in Chelsea Cove. They enjoy most sports, but snow skiing in particular. The duplex at 3381 S. 50 W. is home to Ballard and Susan Veater from Springville and their children Michael and Candice. Ballard works at the LDS Employment Center as an employment counselor. Susan's favorite pasttime is sewing and doing alteration work. |
