Dale Rees, left, accepts plaque of the i Constitution from Arthur Dent, president of the Bountiful Exchange Club. 1 SDTH receives Freedom Shrine Patriotism was celebrated at South Davis Junior High School on the 200th anniversary of the Constitution Con-stitution when Bountiful Exchange Club President Arthur Dent presented pre-sented the Freedom Shrine to Principal Prin-cipal W. Dale Rees, during the Back to School program, Sept. 17. fhe installation of the Freedom Shrine, a collection of famous American documents, was made possible through the cooperation of West Bountiful residents Claude E. and LaRene Vaughn, and the Bountiful Exchange Club. Sounds of Freedom Filled the South Davis gymnasium as the symphonic band performed patrio tic music, followed by remarks from Davis County School Superintendent Super-intendent Richard E. Kendell, and a dedictory speech by Senator Jack M. Bangerter. The public is invited to visit the Freedom Shrine, located in the lower east hallway of the school near the office. I |
