Show Homecoming activities highlight Brave Rave By JILL JENSON Well, all you Braves out there, get ready for a spectacular Homecoming! Home-coming! Tonight is the traditional bonfire at 9 p.m. on the football field, so come and get toasty while we get excited for the football game! Tomorrow is a big day with the Homecoming luncheon for alumni at 11:30 a.m. in the studentbody room, the assembly at 12:30 p.m. (please come 'cause you won't want to miss this one!!), the parade down Main Street at 4 p.m. (and we're looking at sunny skies, I hope!), the tailgate party at 6 p.m. up by the baseball diamond and we invite all students, parents, teachers, alumni and administration administra-tion to come (we will be selling food so bring some S), and the football foot-ball game against East at 7:30 p.m. on our field (but we must stay humble hum-ble after the slaughter!). Saturday is the Homecoming Dance, with a theme of "Sentimental "Sentimen-tal Journey" at 8:30 p.m. It's going to be great and the decorations are fantastic! Royalty for the 1987-88 Homecoming Dance is as follows: king, Wid Covey; queen, Laurie Clayton; 1st attendants, Russ Earl and Marty Loveless; and 2nd attendants, James Wright and Tamara Scott. Congratulations go to the football foot-ball team for their great game with Highland we're proud of them and commend them on how well they've done this season. Also a big pat-on-the-back goes to the girls volleyball team for their great job at the Clearfield tournament and their game vs. Bear River. We're also very proud of our girls' tennis team, cross country, and golf team for the outsanding games they've played. The PHA had a successful spaghetti dinner also. Thanks for the great food guys! The new sophomore officers this year are: Nicole Child, president; Tyler Burningham, Amber Gasser and Kim Fillmore, vice presidents. We're really excited for them and know they'll do a great job! Come and support our incredible school at all the activities. They will be a lot of fun and we need you there! To make your calendaring easier, here's a brief calendar: Thursday, Sept. 24, bonfire at 9 a.m. Friday,' Sept. 25, homecoming luncheon, 11:30 a.m.; assembly, 12:30 p.m.; parade, 4 p.m.; tailgate party, 6 p.m.; football game, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, homecoming dance, 8:30-1 1 :30 p.m. in BHS new gym. The Bountiful High cheerleaders would like to invite all former BHS cheerleaders to come and cheer at the Bre's Homecoming game this Friday at 7:30 p.m. This year's squad members are, front from left, Liz Gardner, Jenni Beck, Marty Loveless, Laurie Clayton (head), Kathy Lund.
