The Utah Chapter of the National Nation-al Multiple Sclerosis Society will honor athletes from around the state at their annual Dinner of Champions, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. This year's dinner will be held at the Marriot Hotel in Salt Lake City. The annual dinner awards athletes at the high school and collegiate col-legiate levels who have performed outstandingly during the past year. , This year's High School Female of the Year award will go to Connie Johnston of Ogden and the Male award will go to Kelly Jenson of Alta. The Collegiate Female of the Year award will be given to Reggie Wright of the U of U Women's basketball bas-ketball team. Mike Smith of BYU's basketball team will receive the Collegiate Male of the Year award. Awards will also be given to John Mooney of the Salt Lake Tribune Tri-bune for Sports Person of the Year, the Golden Eagles hockey club for Professionals of the Year, and the University of Utah Ski Team and Coach Pat Miller for Team of the Year. |
