County Clipper First publication Sept. 10. 1987 Last publication Oct. 1, 1987 Issue No. 32 C-450 NOTICE OF INTENT TO CREATE A COUNTY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT Pursuant to Section 17-7-5, Utah Code Annotated 1953 as amended, the Davis County Commission does hereby give notice of its intent to create a Special Improvement Im-provement District and to make certain improvements within the Special Improvement Improve-ment District, and to levy assessments to pay all of the costs of the improvements. The purpose for which the assessments will be levied is to pay for the construction of curb and gutter and appurtenant facilities I on a portion of 100 J East Street in the unin- corporated area of ' Davis County com-J com-J monly known as Val 1 Verda. The cost and ex-, ex-, penses of the improve- ments will be assessed ' and levied proportionately proportion-ately according to the I front footage of each parcel of real property I located immediately adjacent to and con-j con-j tiguous with the curb, I gutter and appurtenant facilities constructed. In general, the improvements im-provements proposed to be made include but are not necessarily limited to curb, gutter and drive approaches together with necessary neces-sary appurtenances which shall be constructed con-structed in accordance with the plans and specifications spe-cifications on file in the office of the Davis County Planning Department, De-partment, Room 221, Davis County Courthouse, Court-house, Farmington, Utah. The estimated costs of the improvements as determined by the project engineer is the total of $15,135. The Davis County Commission proposes to levy assessments on property in the district to pay all of the costs of the improvements according to the estimated esti-mated direct or indirect in-direct benefits to be derived from the improvements, im-provements, which benefits be-nefits need not actually increase the fair market mar-ket value of the assessed asses-sed property. Protests to the creation crea-tion of the Improvement Improve-ment District may be filed with the Davis County Planning De- fartment during re guar gu-ar business hours but any such protest must be filed on or before October 7, 1987. Any such protest must be in accordance with the requirements set forth in Section 17-7-7, Utah Code Annotated 1953 as amended. On the 7th day of October, 1987, at 10:00 o'clock a.m. in the County Commission Chambers of the Davis County Courthouse located lo-cated at 28 East State Street, Farmington, Utah, the Davis County Coun-ty Commission will conduct a public hearing hear-ing to consider the pro-tests pro-tests filed with the Davis County Planning Office.
