Show Laura A. Green 'J 1 imu Laura Allen Green, 78, of 63 1 W. Gordon, Layton, died Thursday, May 15 in Bountiful of heart failure. fai-lure. She was born Sept. 29, 1907 in Layton, a daughter of Joseph H. and Sara Elizabeth Weaver Allen. She married Parley Green Aug. 28, 1926, in Brigham City. She had been a lifelong resident of Layton. She attended Layton public schools and Davis High School. She contributed for years to the LDS Church. She enjoyed flowers and had won five awards from the State of Utah for her flowers. She was a member of the Sigma Chi Mothers Club. Surviving are her husband of Layton, and one son, Val A. Green, Beaverton, Ore.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 19 at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Pres. Brent Allen of the Layton West Stake officiated. Pallbearers were Tom Allen, Vaughan Allen, Blaine Green, Rulon Weaver, Earl Green and Val John Green. Honorary pallbearers were Howard Allen, Alfred Green, M. O. Grey, Chester King, George Nash and Arnold Spearman. |
