Show STELLA A. UNDERWOOD GUSHER Funeral services were conducted in the Gusher Baptist Bap-tist church, Tuesday, May 10, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Stella Allen Underwood, Un-derwood, 69, who died at her home Sunday, following a lingering linger-ing illness of cancer. Rev. Nolan Beaird conducted the funeral services. ser-vices. Mrs. Underwood was born Nov. 13, 1885,- in Ft. Scott, Kansas, a daughter of A. J. and Arbella Clara Cullers Allen. She was married mar-ried to Clyde Underwood, July 29, 1903. He died Sept. 19, 1947, and she married Guy Underwood, Sept. 10, 1948. An active member of the Baptist Bap-tist church, Mrs. Underwood had resided in this area 39 years. She is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughter by her first husband: Mrs. Elsie Domgaard, Gusher; Arthur Underwood, Under-wood, Los Angeles, Calif; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Underwood, Grants Pass, Ore. Burial was in the Roosevelt Cemetery, under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. GLENDA LEE WINN i LAPOINT Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Lapoint ward chapel for Glenda Lee Winn, daughter of Boyd and Helen Allred Winn, who died at- the family home Sunday at 8 p.m. after a long illness. She I was born Jan. 31, 1951 in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Surviving are her parents, sister, Shirley Rae, Lapoint; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn, Lapoint, La-point, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Allred, Neola; great-grandmothers, Mrs. Mae Sprouse, Lapoint; Eliza Mitchell, Neola; Mrs. Cynthia Winn, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Sarah E. Allied, Ogden. Burial was in the Vernal Cemetery, Ceme-tery, under the direction of a Vernal Ver-nal mortuary. |
