Show BABY BURIED HERE The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Ashley, formerly of Alterra, Al-terra, who died at birth at Moab, where the family now resides, was buried in the Fort Duchesne cemetery ceme-tery last Tuesday. Elton Kettle has employment in Vernal at present. Mrs. Karl Shisler and two small daughters spent several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mont Poulson in Duchesne last week. Twelve members of the Relief Society went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cook on Thursday, Thurs-day, May 5, and spent the day in "spring cleaning for Mrs. Cook, who has been home-bound this winter. We were very pleased to see her out on Mother's Day. Donna Ross, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mar Ross, spent the weekend at the Glen Stanley home. She accompanied her father to Layton. Mr. Ross has come out each week to help play for dances at the R. W. Barn. The last dance was held there on Saturday night for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Evans and two children went to Upalco on Sunday to visit Mrs. Evans' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Mitchell. Misses Eva and Essie Sprouse, now of Salt Lake City, came out to spend Mother's Day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sprouse. |
