Show On General Board Velma Harvey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey, who is now residing in Salt Lake City, has been appointed to the YWMIA general board as Mia Maid leader. Mrs. Darrell Goodrich took her son, Dean, to Salt Lake Thursday to the doctor for a check-up on his leg. He will undergo an operation oper-ation on his leg May 31. Mrs. Roy Atwood, of Riverton, and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Cunliff, of Midvale, were visitors at the John Harvey home Saturday. Mrs. Don Harvey and son visited visit-ed during the week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Olsen in Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dye were visitors at the Reed McKee home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harvey and children, from Clearfield, visited Saturday at the James Harvey home and Farrell Simmons home. Mrs. J. R. McKee went to Salt I Lake Thursday to visit her son, Clayton, who is in the Primary Children's Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Hardy and family, from Vernal, spent Mother's Day at the H. LeRoy Morrill home. Velma Mooseman, from Salt Lake City, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Harvey. Mrs. Neil Borup took her son, Reed, to the doctor in Roosevelt for medical attention Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Milt Woolley from Lapoint to Salt Lake and Provo during the week. Visiting at the Darrell Goodrich home over the weekend was their daughter, Loye, from the BYU and one of her friends, Nancy Jo Wy-coff Wy-coff from Baltimore, Maryland. Flora Harvey, from Salt Lake, spent the weekend with her parents. par-ents. Flora is taking nurses training train-ing at the Holy Cross Hospital. Marta Morrill started work at the Huish Drug Store in Roosevelt Roose-velt last week. MOTHERS CITED The Sunday School presented a very nice Mothers' Day program Sunday, after which they presented present-ed each mother with a lovely potted pot-ted plant. Edith Goodrich's Sunday School class presented a very interesting program in Sacrament meeting on Sunday night. Rosalee Cook gave the Theology lesson in Relief Society Tuesday, after which the members enjoyed testimony bearing. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross, of Little Bonanza, and son, Dee, spent the weekend in Tridell. |
