Show Two Report For Pre-lnduction; Four Discharged The monthly report for April from the Duchesne County Selective Selec-tive Service board shows that two men reported for pre-induction physical examinations. One enlistment enlist-ment was credited. There were no inductions during April, but there were four separations from the Army for Duchesne County men. The two men who reported for physical examinations on May 3 are James Myron Taylor, Duchesne and Don Killian, Roosevelt. Larry Dell Nelson, of Roosevelt, has enlisted in the Coast Guard. Notice of his enlistment was received re-ceived by the local board on April 29, according to Mrs. Helen D. Odekirk, clerk of the board. Those sparated from the Army are Thiel James Gomm, of Altamont Alta-mont and Logan; Joseph Bennett Josie, Tabiona; Udell Langdon of Tabiona and Heber; Edward Marion Mar-ion Rowley of Roosevelt. Notice of separations were received by the local board on April 26. A time-cost survey is being conducted con-ducted by the local selective service ser-vice board during May. Reason for the survey is to compile information in-formation to use for budgetary and other purposes. To secure this information, all individuals of the Selective Service system are to participate in the time-cost survey. There were no inductions ordered or-dered for May from this county. |
