Show Farm Hands Musi Set Social Security Cards "Farm hands who have not as yet applied for social security account ac-count number cards should get their cards as soon as possible," Grant S. Williams, field representative represen-tative of the Salt Lake district social so-cial security office, said today. This year, all farm employees who earn at least $100.00 in cash wages during the year, working for any one farmer, will be covered cov-ered by social security. A farm employee who works at least this much will need a. social security card so that his employer can report re-port properly his name, social security se-curity number, and total yearly wages for social security credit for the farm worker. Farm employees can get application appli-cation blanks (Form SS-5) at their nearest post office, or at the Social So-cial Security District Office at 212 South West Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Williams will be in Duchesne, Du-chesne, Utah, room 3, new courthouse, court-house, at 2:00 p.m. on May 17, 1955, and at Roosevelt, in the city hall, at 4:00 p.m. on the same day. |
