Show tlecia Mrs. Melba Eksund Scouts Leave For ' Yellowstone Park The Neola Boy Scouts left Monday for a week's encampment encamp-ment at Yellowstone National Park. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ol-sen Ol-sen and Roy Gardner accompanied accom-panied them. Roland Allred, of Clearfield, spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Farris Henrie. Charlotte Henrie, who had been staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Q. Allred, came home with him. Mrs. Stubstead, the former Audrey Gardner, and family, and Chell Gardner, of Salt Lake, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duncan and Jim Rhodes motored to Salt Lake Friday, where they took Mrs. Evelyn Rhodes to receive medical attention. Jenna Lee Keele and Arlene Wiscombe returned re-turned home, with them. Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. James O. Peterson that their daughter, Mrs. Ada Hutcheon, had just had an operation op-eration performed on both eyes. She was reported doing nicely, and is staying in Provo with her daughter, Beth. Mrs. Lillian Wilkerson and Mrs. Wanda Riggle have gone to Salt Lake City to attend summer sum-mer school. Miss Dorothy Peterson, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurmati Peterson, who is employed by Hi-Land Dairyman's Association, Salt Lake City, was home for Father's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Steven-Bon, Steven-Bon, of Logan, visited in Neola last week with friends and relatives. rel-atives. Mr. and Mrs. Adair Baxter, of Orem, and Bruce Baxter, of Tooele, were guests recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Dye. Mrs. Mary Crozier and Mr; and Mrs. Harold Chaney and children, Louie and Leon, of Los Angeles, were in Neola a few days last week. Mrs. Crozier Cro-zier and the two children stayed here while Mr. and Mrs. Chaney Chan-ey journeyed on to St. Louis to attend a convention. Marion Harrison made a business busi-ness trip to Chicago last week. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Jensen of American Fork spent the past week in Neola with Neil's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jensen. Jen-sen. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Horrocks are spending a month's vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Therron Horrocks, Hor-rocks, after which he will leave for his summer cruise up and down the Atlantic coast and the Carribean sea as a member of the Naval Reserve. Jay has been attending the University of Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Mills have gone to Salt Lake to seek employment. em-ployment. Howard Lee, of Vernal, is visiting at the Therron Horrocks home. |
