Show Shower Honors Young Couple A shower was given in the ward chapel Thursday afternoon for Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Huber. The following program was presented: pre-sented: song, Glee Warburton; accordian solo. La Wanna Glines, !of Tridell; song, Lula Margaret ! Huber; song, Ila Rae McConkie, t of Tridell; piano solo, Myrna I Taylor; song, Dawn Huber; and jokes, by Vera Bigelow. Donna Hartle played the piano accom-, accom-, paniment for the singing, j Refreshments were served to a large crowd, followed by a dance in the evening. Vera Bigelow was a substitute clerk in the post office Friday and Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Searle, of Ogden, recently visited her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Haslem and baby, of Provo, spent a few days recently with Mrs. Has-lem's Has-lem's parents, Mr. and Mrs, Ru-len Ru-len Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Doyl Barney and family, of Alterra, have moved into the Lloyd Taylor home. Mrs. Boyd Moosman and children chil-dren went to the sheep- camp on the mountain to spend a few days with her husband. Ray Brown, of Montwel, visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Taylor during the week. Lillie Bigelow and Donna Hartle Har-tle visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Butch Wilkins, of Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Pete Harrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison, Weldon Woolley, son of Mr, and Mrs. Milt Woolley, went to Ft. Douglas Doug-las Monday to report for induction induc-tion into the army. , Mrs. Wesley Bastian and daughter, of Neola, attended the shower Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Glenn Huber. They also visited Mrs. Bastian's aunt, Mrs. Barbara Nyberg. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton, of Vernal, spent Friday evening with his mother, Mrs. Sarah Norton. A going-away party was held at the home of Grandmother Margaret Harrison Wednesday afternoon in honor of Ramona Harrison She received many lovely gifts. Refreshments were served to 24 guests. Mrs. Frances Horrocks, of Bennett and Margaret Harrison went to Salt Lake last weekend. week-end. Mrs. Harrison visited her sons, Russell and Morgan, while Mrs. Horrocks attended the I M.I. A. conference. |
