Show Dan Dennis Gets Degree From Colorado A & M Dan Dennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis, was graduated, grad-uated, June 8, from the Colorado Colo-rado A & M college at Fort Collins, Col-lins, with a degree of Dr. of Veterinary Medicine. He volunteered volun-teered in the Veterinary Corps of the Air Force and has been assigned to the Air Defense' Command with temporary station sta-tion at Colorado ' Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis attended the graduation exercises, and on their return home were accompanied ac-companied by Dan, his wife and two' children, who will visit for a short time at the Dennis home before Dan returns to his new station. Mrs. Dan Dennis and the children will make their home with her parents until Dan has a permanent base J. J. Lewis arrived ar-rived last week from Delzura, California, to visit their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Wesley Jenson. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson Robin-son enjoyed a week-end visit from their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wendall Workman and family, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray attended the wedding of Mr. Murray's brother, Clyde, of Taylorsville, who was married to LeNor Richardson in the L.D.S. temple, Friday, June 15. They were accompanied by Mr, and Mrs. Claude Murray, of Altonah, and both couples attended the reception and dinner Friday evening. eve-ning. Mrs. Neil Murray and small son are visiting her parents. Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers, at Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Biltz and children, of Midvale, were week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burton. They enjoyed two days of fishing fish-ing while here. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Bogart and children, of Duchesne, visited vis-ited in Myton Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jule Perry, of Tooele, "are visiting at the ranch home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry. Miss Lois Davis and Mrs. Ef-fie Ef-fie Mercer, of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday at the home of Mrs. Jack Gingell, Miss Davis' mother. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk, Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. Orin Olsen and daughter, Alberta, of Duchesne; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Mitchell and family, of Corbel, California; Tresa and Jimmy Dalpaiz, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs James Dalgleish spent Fathers Day in Duchesne with Mrs. Dalgleish's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. A. M. Todd and Miss Alice Todd were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd on Father's Day. Mrs. Merrill Lisonbee returned return-ed Sunday from Price, where she attended the state conference confer-ence of school lunch workers at Carbon college from Friday until un-til Sunday. Joan, Judy and Toby Quin-tana Quin-tana spent a week here visiting their father, Mike Quintana. Joan and Judy left Sunday for Elko, Nevada, for a brief visit vis-it with relatives before returning return-ing to their home at Saguache, Colo. Toby remained here to , help his father, who is employed i by Moon Brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harris and family left Saturday, after spending a week at the home of their uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Harris. Mrs. Howard Roberts and small son, Mark, went to Salt Lake City last week, where she attended the P.T.A. convention. Mr. Roberts joined them Saturday Satur-day to attend the M.I.A. convention conven-tion and they went to Provo Sunday for Leadership Week, where Mr. and Mrs. Roberts are receiving instruction in "The Dancing Workshop" at the B.Y.U. |
