Show Oil Pool Rehearing Set For Nov. 16 Re-hearing of the Roosevelt oil pool unit case has been rescheduled re-scheduled for Nov. 16 in The Federal District Court of District Dis-trict Judge Willis W. Ritter. The case originally was scheduled sched-uled for re-argument Thursday, but the delay was granted at request of counsel. Phillips Petroleum Co. and some 80 mineral rights holders in the Roosevelt pool are litigants liti-gants in the action, which involves in-volves the legality of the standard stand-ard oil unit lease form. In a verbal decision early last summer, sum-mer, Judge Ritter held that the lease agreements the oil company com-pany was trying to enforce are invalid. However, no formal decision de-cision was entered and the judge consented to rehear the case. |
