Show Hew Manager Is Named At Hi-Land Plant Announcement was made yesterday yes-terday by Bruce Fitzgerald, President of the Hi-Land Dairymen Dairy-men Association, of the transfer trans-fer of Wilford Robinson, Roosevelt Roose-velt plant manager for the past 32 years, to the Murray operations. oper-ations. He also announced the appointment of Lynn Dye, of Neola, to succeed Mr. Robinson. Hi-Land opened the Roosevelt plant in 1948, and about 2 months after they started producing pro-ducing Mr. Robinson came from his home in Beaver to manage the Plant. He had been, employed em-ployed by the Brooklawn Creamery Co. in the community for 14 years. The Roosevelt plant was processing approximately approxi-mately 20,000 pounds of milk daily when Mr. Robinson took over, and now their daily consumption con-sumption is 140.000 pounds. He was a charter member mem-ber of the Roosevelt Kiwanis club and has served as a director direc-tor and vice-president. He was recently elected a 2-year director. direc-tor. He was also a member f the Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion. Mrs. Robinson Rob-inson served a term as president of the Legion Auxiliary and was active in the LDS church, of which both are members. The Robinsons have purchased a home in Salt Lake City, which is lecated on Hollywood Ave. Their three daughters live in the Capitol City. Mr. Robinson will be in charge of distribution for the Murray plant. The new . manager, Mr. Dye. and his family, which consists of a wife and two children, have moved from their Neola home to the residence occupied by the Robinsons. They are active ac-tive members of the Neola ward. He has been employed by Hi-Land Hi-Land in the Roosevelt plant for three years. m |
