Show Mr. & Mrs. Harvey Biggie Gain Posts In 0. E. S. Officers for Duveromy Chapter, Chap-ter, No. 17, Order of Eastern Stars, were elected Tuesday evening at a regular meeting in the Masonic Temple, with Mrs. Wanda Riggle, of Neola, named as worthy matron, and Harvey Riggle, as worthy patron. Elected Elect-ed as associate matron was Mrs. Jean Stevens, of Vernal, and associate patron, Charles Richardson, Rich-ardson, of Myton; conductress, Mrs. Margaret Phillips, Vernal; associate conductress, Mrs. Helen Hel-en Stevens, Vernal; secretary, Mrs. Nellie Jones, Duchesne; treasurer, Mrs. Helen Hancock, Hancock Cove; and three-year trustee, Tom Sweatman, of Vernal. Ver-nal. Hold-over trustees are Mrs. Lula Munz and Mrs. Ha Lombard. Appointive officers are as follows: Adah, Mrs. Betty Hack-ler; Hack-ler; Ruth, Mrs. Alice Ferron; Esther, Mrs. Vivian Voorhies; Martha, Mrs. Margaret Rye; Electa, Mrs. Alice Hatch; chaplain, chap-lain, Mrs. Margaret Slye; marsh-all, marsh-all, Mrs. Barbara Mohr; organist, organ-ist, Ross Slye; warden, Willie B. Roberts; sentinel, Leo Hancock. Han-cock. Mrs. Anna Norman, worthy matron, presided at the meeting. An interesting observation made was that Mrs. Nellie Jones was initiated into the Easter Star Chapter 17 years ago on Nov. 10th. Date for Installation of new officers was set for Nov. 30th. |
