Show P-TA Hears Talk On School Survey Report E. L. Murphy, Duchesne County School Board member, was the guest speaker at the November meeting of the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Parent-Teacher Association Associa-tion discussing with the group the school survey report and current school problems. Several musical numbers were presented by the Junior High School Girls' chorus, under the direction of the music instructor Lawrence Lee. Parents were invited by the principals to attend Parents' Days at their schools this week in observance of National Education Ed-ucation Week. Bennie Schmiett, president, took charge of the meeting, and announced that Mrs. Naomi Gardner's first grade won the attendance banner, with honors at Junior High School going to Ben Gomm's home room. The meeting was opened with community singing, led by Mr. and Mrs. David Watkins, music chairmen. |
