Show Catholic Bazaar Is Huge Success The St. Helen's Catholic Parish Par-ish held its annual Bazaar at the Roosevelt American Legion Hall Wednesday evening, Nov. 4th. A large crowd enjoyed Bingo throughout the evening, with prizes being donated by local merchants. Feature attraction of the evening was the drawing-for drawing-for an automatic shotgun, which was won by Merrell Wilkins, of Roosevelt. The door prize a turkey, went to Mrs. Frank Yack. The work of the members of the Altar Society and their friends was crowned with the beautiful display of over two hundred handicraft articles. Refreshments Re-freshments were prepared and served during the evening, and a fish pond provided entertainment entertain-ment for the younger set. Mrs. Ned Coltharp acted as chairman for the affair, assisted by secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Stanley Schmiett; Mrs. Jewel Kolb, handicraft department; Mrs. Larry Deller, kitchen; Sandra San-dra Ross and Pam Harmston, fish pond. For all who contributed by work or their gifts, the pastor in the name of the parishioners and his own, expresses "Thanks and God repay you." |
