Show s$rcadia Mrs. Elsie Bird Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields received word of the death of their brother-in-law, Alexander Murray, of Tooele. They, along with Mr and Mrs. Ralph Shields, of Roosevelt, and Wanless Shields, of Bridgeland, attended funeral sevrice at Tooele, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel and girls, of Tabiona; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Peel and family visited over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty Miss Beth Powell and Phil Powell, of Layton, visited a few days with their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Max Ross. Phil Recently returned re-turned from Korea. Clinton and Bill Gines, of Kamas, visited over the weekend week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Clinton is a brother-in-law. They also visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson at Myton. Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker and son, Ronald, of Moses Lake, Washington, visited a few days with old friends while Mr. Zirker Zir-ker gathered his crops. They spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields. Mr. and Mrs. Ashley Workman Work-man and children, Joyce and I Jay, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. Workman s sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Horrocks. Sgt. Wendell and Mrs. Wendell Wen-dell Evans, of Orlando, Florida, visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans. They all attended a wedding dance at Boneta. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert and Charlie Bird took a load of livestock to Salt Lake Monday. Sharon Holgate and Clair Winterton, of Kamas, spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate. Mrs. Holgate returned to Kamas for a few days' visit. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert went to Tabiona Tuesday, Tues-day, where Mrs. Gilbert attended attend-ed Relief Society. Mrs. Charlie Bird entertained at a chicken dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solmonson's 54th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Solmonson are Mrs. Bird's parents. |
