Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seeley and two children, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Justin Winkler, of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kresser, of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Del Larsen and family, of Salt Lake City; Stanley Gordon, of Murray; Mur-ray; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Good, rich and family, of Helper; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Anderson and three daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hancock and two boys of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson and small daughter, of Montana, arrived here this week to be with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich. ROBERT ALEXANDER MURRAY DIES Word came from Salt Lake City last Wednesday of the death of Robert Alexander Murray, Mur-ray, age 76, former Bluebell resident, res-ident, who died in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment Born Oct. 29, 1877 in Lake View, Tooele County, a son of James and Jessie White Murray. He married Elizabeth Shields in 1893 in Tooele. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. - The Murray family was early pioneers in Bluebell, coming here in 1914. Mrs. Murray died Aug. 12, 1945. Shortly after her death Mr. Murray sold his farm here and moved to Salt Lake City, where he was employed at Welfare Square until a week before his death. He married Delia Cluff Whiting Whit-ing April 2, 1952. His widow and fifteen sons and daughters survive him: George Scott, J. Wilbur, Gilbert, John M Lloyd Ellis, Mrs. Fern Gowans, Mrs. Marvel Gowans, Mrs. Gladys Hamilton, Mrs. Florence Jacobs, all of Tooele; Mrs. Fay Foster, Oakland, Calif.; Earl Murray, of Bluebell; Mrs. Helen Holder, Mrs. Naoma Woodard, Afton L. Murray, Salt Lake City; Robert Rob-ert Otto Murray, of Nevada. 70 grandchildren and 40 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Tooele Second ward, Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial Bur-ial was in the Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Cook, Mrs. Edna Bird and Tilitha Bird took Mr. . and Mrs. George Brundage and baby to Price on Tuesday of last week. From there the Brundages will go on to California, where Mr. Brundage Brun-dage is stationed in the Army. The remainder of the group returned re-turned home the following day. While there they visited Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Stansfield and fam-1 fam-1 ily. |
