Show Rasmussen - Glines Wed In Temple Vella Rasmussen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen, and Morgan Glines, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Glines, of Tri-dell, Tri-dell, were married in the LDS Temple at Salt Lake City, on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Brother Burton officiated. Those accompanying accom-panying them through the temple tem-ple were her parents, Bishop and Mrs. L. J. Walker; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Merril Rasmussen, of Lapoint; La-point; the groom's parents, his sister, Mrs. Lawanna Oman, of Tridell; Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Morrill, Mrs. Elmer Morrill, Mr. and Mrs. Acel Haslem, of Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Levi Kitchen, of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rowell, Mrs. Jacob Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, of Salt Lake City. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Wyoming. A shower and dance were held Saturday in the Lapoint chapel in their honor. They received re-ceived many lovely gifts. They' will make their home in Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. Milt Wooley were visitors in Salt Lake City the past week. Floyd Angus made a trip to Heber, Thursday, with a load of cattle. Newman Chuck, 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cuch, had the misfortune to break his leg in two places, while playing at school on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. His mother is the former form-er Bertha Schavanoah. Mrs. Annie Stoker and son. Otto, and two boys of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors in Lapoint. Also Visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Garth Stoker, of Bingham. Bing-ham. They are all former residents resi-dents of Lapoint. ' Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Perry and children, of. Dragerton. visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bigelow, over the weekend. A birthday party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McCoy Mc-Coy Nyberg on Sunday evening in honor of McCoy's birthday. A lunch was served to the following: fol-lowing: his mother, Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Nyberg; Mr. and Mrs. Nel-don Nel-don Nyberg, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Murray, of Whiterocks; Clyde Cox and family, fam-ily, of Neola; Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Clin-ton Morrill, Tridell; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison, George Nyberg Ny-berg and family, of Lapoint, and Annie Warburton. A program and dance was held at the Lapoint chapel, on Thursday night, honoring Glenn Huber, son of Mr. and Mrs. I Frank Huber, who recently returned re-turned from Korea; and for Marvin Mar-vin Huber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Huber, who left Monday for the service. A very large crowd was in attendance. Dale Harrison, who is attending attend-ing school at Logan, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison Har-rison over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Erving Young, of Randlett, Acel Haslem and family, of Orem, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Morrill and baby of Logan, visited at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Ru-lon Rasmussen, and attended the shower and dance of their sister, sis-ter, Vella Rasmussen Glines on Saturday. A large crowd from here attended at-tended conference at Vernal on Sunday. The male quartet composed com-posed of Ray Lee, Louis Wooley, George Bigelow and Rex Taylor, Tay-lor, accompanied by Dona Hartle, Har-tle, sang at the M.I.A. evening program. |
