Show Ladies Urged To Enter Articles In County Fair All ladies in Duchesne County are urged to enter their handicraft, handi-craft, fancywork, needlework, quilts, clothing (new or remodeled), remod-eled), canned fruits, vegetables, meats, baked items, etc. in the Duchesne County Fair, set for Sept. 2, 3, and 4 at Duchesne. According to Mrs. Paul Murphy, Mur-phy, chairman for the ladies' entries from Roosevelt, all articles ar-ticles to be entered should be given to her by Tuesday, Aug. 31, as judging will be done Wednesday. Cookies, candy and doughnuts should be displayed in half-dozen half-dozen lots on paper plates. Chiffon Chif-fon cakes or one-layer cakes, not iced, may be entered, or decorated decor-ated cakes may be entered. There will be a special department de-partment for clothes made by I 'teen-agers who are not members mem-bers of 4-H clubs. |
