Show Recent visitors at the Ray Dillman residence have been Mr. and Mrs. Miles Dillman and , family, of Provo, and Mrs. Lor-in Lor-in Hunsaker and two children, who are moving to Riverside, Calif, from Logan. Thursday night guests at the Dillman home were. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Howard, of Kansas City. Arriving by freight Tuesday was a small white Spitz dog, which is now owned by Mrs. Richard Dye, who brought the dog, which is pure white and has fur almost like a kitten, into in-to the Standard Office. This particular breed is quite rare. A guest of Miss Patricia Wills last weekend was Miss Marjorie Burnett. Mrs. Galley is the former for-mer Valerie Knox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dye, of Roosevelt. Returning Tuesday from a week's vacation trip to Idaho Falls were Mr. and Mrs. Rex Curry and family. While there they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Curtis. Mr. Curry enjoyed a fishing trip to Henry's Hen-ry's Lake while there. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Leahy, of Van Nuys, Calif., and children, Sharon, Pat, Kathleen and and Mike, arrived Monday to visit a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Harmston. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Cook were overnight guests, Saturday Satur-day of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge El-dredge at their cabin in Uinta Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Cook, and Clem Labrum drove to' Vernal Friday night to see the Softball playoff between the Naples ward and the Roosevelt Second ward. The Naples ward won 8-5. Kay Labrum is in Yellowstone Park visiting with Helen Robins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ttfm Robins of Roosevelt, who are managing Clair Larsen's cabins in West Yellowstone. Visiting with David Dickerson is his cousin, Boyd Clayson, of Provo, who arrived Tuesday for a week's visit. Mrs.' Paul Murphy and daughters, daugh-ters, Paula and Ann, left today, Thursday, to visit in Provo and Salt Lake City for a few days. Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Edmunds, of Alhambra, Calif., left Monday Mon-day after spending a few days with the George Hackings. Arriving Monday to visit at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stringham for a few days were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hilde-brant, Hilde-brant, of Albion, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sather and sons, Bobby and Randy, left Sunday for Rochester, Minnesota, Min-nesota, where the boys will receive re-ceive medical examinations at Mayo Brothers. Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Gehring, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, left for their home on Monday, after af-ter several days' visit at the A. L. Norman home. Mrs. Gehring Geh-ring is a sister of Mr. Norman. Floyd Labrum is walking on air reason he's the proud father of a 10 lb. 6 oz. baby son, born Aug. 19 in the Roosevelt Hospital. Christensen residence Monday Mon-day night, were Superintendent and Mrs. Max Abbot and children, chil-dren, of Vernal. Overnight guests Saturday at the John Swenson home were newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. James Larsen, of Salt Lake City, who were married Friday in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Larsen is a cousin of Mr. Swenson. Arriving Monday to visit the Swensons was Mrs. Swenson's mother, Mrs. Zelma Beardall, of Springville. Douglas Malin has been seen about town in a new two-door blue Ford. Understand he's planning to take it to Logan where he will attend the USAC. Mrs. Paul Wilkins was a Salt Lake City visitor last week. Returning Re-turning with her for an indefinite indef-inite stay was her mother, Mrs. Etta Odekirk. Mrs. R. S. Jordan and Mrs. Cliff Angus and sotis, Kent and Douglas, attended the flower show at Porter Waltons last Saturday Sat-urday in Salt Lake City. Sunday visitors at the flower show were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Mitchell and son, Bruce, and Mrs. Mary E. Freston. |
