Show ICent Brighton Leaves To Fiii IDS fission- BALLARD Special) A farewell fare-well party was held at the Ballard Bal-lard ward chapel Monday evening, eve-ning, Aug. 16, for Kent Brighton, Brigh-ton, who has entered the Mission Mis-sion Home in Salt Lake City prior to leaving to fill a Texas-Louisiana Texas-Louisiana mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Brighton. The following program added to the entertainment of the evening: eve-ning: vocal duet, Miss Janice Anderton and Miss Janet Stevens; Stev-ens; vocal solo', Miss Janice Neil-son; Neil-son; male quartet, Lynn White, Norman Angus, and Ned and Allen Al-len Gines; reading, Mrs. Bill Parrish; talks by Russel Todd. Mr. Brighton and Kent. Dancing was enjoyed during the remainder of the evening by the large crowd in attendance. atten-dance. Kent graduated from Union High School and also from Seminary. Sem-inary. Since graduating he has worked as a carpenter and also assisted his father with farming. He enjoyed last Sunday visiting with his parents. |
