Show Ktoncili Mrs. Ethel Beeb Undergoes Surgery Mrs. Mary Bowden was taken from the Roosevelt Hospital Aug. 12, to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake, and was operated on the next day' for a blood clott between the intestines and the stomach lining. Her condition condi-tion was poor. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Young, Theressa and Betty Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Young attended at-tended the rodeo in Heber last weekend. A large crowd of Altanoh people attended stake quarterly conference at Mt. Emmons, Aug. 15th. Mrs. Mary Carroll and son, Jack, went to Salt Lake City, Aug. 13, to attended the funerals funer-als of Frank Hale and 4 members mem-bers of the family, who were killed in a car accident. Mr. Hale is a relatives of Mrs. Carroll. Car-roll. They also attended the Burgess reunion at Gordon Park,- Sunday, Aug. 15th. Preston Allen transacted business busi-ness in Ft. Duchesne several days during the week. Judy Jessen, of Salt Lake, is here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Dew-ey Jessen for a few days. Norita Bowden returned to her home Sunday with her father, Clinton Bowden, after a visit in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Case and family spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe made a trip to Provo, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Oliver, of Price, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen. Mrs. Ross Iorg and a lady from Ft. Duchesne, were in Altonah Al-tonah on business, Wednesday. Mr and Mrs. Charley Bowden Bow-den and family, of Bonanza, spent the weekend in Altonah. Michael Fisher came home with them, after spending two weeks with relatives in Bonanza. Marcus Tingley, of Long Beach, Calif., spent a week here visiting George Mecham. They enjoyed a fishing trip at the Jones Resort on Yellowstone River. Mr. and Mrs. James Weeks and family, of Garfield, were visiting Mr. Weeks during the week. VISIT FROM OMAHA Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Snyder and family and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Groves, of Omaha, Neb., arrived Aug. 14th to spend a week with Mr. Snyder's mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and other relatives. rel-atives. They left for their homes Saturday, Aug. 21st. |
