Show Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Blazers Enjoy Early Breakfast Wednesday morning, Aug. 18 at 6 o'clock the Blazers of the Primary had an early bird breakfast at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Lois Cook. They cooked their breakfast on the tin can stoves they had made in Primary. The Blazer boys taking part were: Dennis Kettle, Ket-tle, Elvin Kettle and Charles Jenkins. EXTEND SYMPATHY Word was received on Tuesday Tues-day t Aug. 17 that Albin Anderson Ander-son had passed away at his home in Vernal after an extended extend-ed illness. When a boy, Mr. Anderson An-derson lived in Ballard, then after his marriage he was a member of the Ballard ward. We extend our sympathy to Mrs. Anderson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shisler went to Vernal Friday on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squire and Spencer Squire attended a DeMille family reunion at Liberty Lib-erty Park on Sunday, Aug. 15. Mrs. Leland Angus and daughters, Joan, Elaine and Beatrice, Be-atrice, motored to Salt Lake on Thursday, where Joan received a medical check-up. She had been confined to her home all summer. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and three younger children teturned this past week from their trip. They visited with Mr. and Mrs.- Lennis Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and family near Salem, Oregon, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Rasmussen and children at Mountain Home, Idaho. Mrs. Xavier Bellon and son, Drew went to Salt Lake City last week, where they enjoyed visiting for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle took their two sons, Dennis and Douglas to the special health clinic, which was held at the Roosevelt Hospital, conducted by doctors from Salt Lake City last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond El-dredge El-dredge and family went to Vernal Ver-nal last Wednesday to see Mrs. Albin Anderson, who is a sister of Mrs. Eldredge. Miss Bonetta Locke, who is employed in San Francisco, has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Locke, of Independence. In-dependence. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brisbin and family enjoyed a short fishing and camping trip up on Rock Creek last week. Mr. and Mrs. Von Haslem made a trip to Vernal last Wednesday Wed-nesday to get some more material ma-terial for their new home. |
