Show Community Club Enjoys Party Members of the Community Club and their partners were entertained on the local park grounds last Saturday evening by those whose birthdays have occurred during the past four months. A bonfire, group singing sing-ing and a delicious lunch comprised com-prised the evening's entertainment. entertain-ment. Hostesses included Viola Horrocks, Gussie Yack, Myrtle Elmer, Ruth Brown, Cora Hacking, Hack-ing, Esther Halverson, Alice Ol-sen, Ol-sen, Fern Oberhansley, Laura Gardner, KaDee Edrington, La-Rene La-Rene Bastian, Flora Wilson and Fern Peterson. Woodrow and Edwin Wilker-son Wilker-son made a business trip to Ship Rock, New Mexico last week. Woodrow remained there. He has employment in a service station. sta-tion. His family plans to join him as soon as housing arrangements ar-rangements can be made. Mr. and Mrs. Tal War die were Salt Lake City visitors last week. Mrs. Floyd Horrocks and two daughters, of Escalante, are visiting vis-iting at the Victor Horrocks' home. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Harrison motored to Logan last Friday. Returning with them were Zora Gardner and Palmira Peterson, who have spent the past twelve weeks there attending summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duncan and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan spent last week vacationing in Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Bunk) Sprouse, who have been in California Cal-ifornia for several months, returned re-turned to Neola last week. They are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Al-lan Harrison. Mrs. Geneva Whiting, Mrs. Amanda Henrie, Mrs. Jennie Woodward, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Mitchell attended the Temple excursion to Salt Lake City last Thursday. Mrs. Jack Leavitt has accepted accept-ed a position as Home Economics Econom-ics teacher at Union High. |
