Show M.I. A. Fetes Two Army Recruits The ward M.I.A. conducted a party Saturday night honoring Earl Crosby and Glenn Case, who reported at Fort Douglas, March 12, for duty in the armed forces. Mrs. Evan Bennion, Y.W.M.I. A. president, conducted the following fol-lowing program: vocal trio, Mrs. Lois LaRose, Anna Lee Thack-er Thack-er and Veretta Gomm; song with guitar accompaniment, Mrs. LaRose; reading. Mrs. Rosabelle Ames; jokes, Wm. R. Evans; vocal solo, Mona Miles. A dance followed with the Duchesne orchestra furnishing the nrusic. At the, close"" of the danced Mr. Rasmussen, a member mem-ber of the orchestra, entertained with several guitar selections. Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and daughter, daugh-ter, Susan, of Roosevelt, visited from Thursday until Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Crosby and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Crosby, of Orem, were here to attend the party for their brother. Earl. |
