Show Duchesne County Residents Offered Hospital Plan By Insurance Company An important announcement on another page of this issue of the paper gives detailed information infor-mation concerning the hospital and surgical protection which will soon be available to residents resi-dents of this county. The National Benefit Insurance Insur-ance company, with the Home Office in Dea Moines, is the author of the hospital and surgical sur-gical program to be introduced to the residents of the county. This plan of protection against the expense of hospital and doctor doc-tor bills has benefited residents of many other communities. National Na-tional Benefit is now in its 44th year of service and this county has been selected as one of the counties to participate in this hospital and surgical program. The protection has been widely wide-ly endorsed for its liberal coverage cov-erage for hospital and surgical bills. Many residents of this state have received benefits for hospital and doctor bills incurred in-curred because of operations. Since a high percentage of residents require hospitalization every year, a need for a better plan of hospital and surgical protection is indicated. It is expected ex-pected that participation in the program here will be extensive. The National Benefit plan is well- known and has achieved popularity. i One of the most effective j means of combating socialized , medicine is the ever-increasing number of families who are protecting themselves by participating par-ticipating in a voluntary plan of hospital and surgical protection. protec-tion. Many authorities believe that the American people, most especially those in the Midwest, want to choose their own plan (Continued on back page) Hospital Plan .... (Continued from page 1) of protection against hospital and doctor expenses, rather than be forced into a system of governemnt controlled medical or hospital care. The announcement carried elsewhere in this issue will give residents of this county an opportunity op-portunity to participate in such a voluntary progTam providing protection against Hospital and surgical expense. It is pointed out that families living in the rural areas will be contacted Many more farm families require re-quire hospitalization than city residents because of the higher incident of accidents on the farms. Usually farmers do not have the opportunity to obtain adequate hospital and surgical care because they are self-employed and the benefit of an industrial group plan is not available to them. The need for protection against heavy hospital and doctor doc-tor bills appears to be increasing increas-ing according to latest available figures. It is believed that nearly near-ly 10 . per cent of the entire population of this county will require hospitalization in 1951. That means that, on the average a member of every second family fam-ily can be expected to enter a hospital during the year. Residents will be interviewed by an authorized staff representative represen-tative who will carry proper credentials signed by an officer of-ficer of the company. The protection pro-tection offered by the National Benefit plan will be available to both individuals and families who are eligible. Residents of the county can show their support sup-port of this program by giving the authorized staff representative representa-tive a few moments of their time when he calls. |
