Jl - I ' j f. . r- . ri X ' i ' MISS PATRICIA WILLS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Al-ma Wills, of Roosevelt, will enter the Salt Lake L.D.S. mission home, March 19, prior pri-or to leaving on a 2-year mission mis-sion io the Western States, with headquarters at Denver, Colorado. Miss Wills, a graduate from Roosevelt high school, attended the L.D.S. Business college. Salt Lake, - and was formerly employed in Santa Monica, California, where she was scribe for the Patriarch and held the office of Mutual secretary. She is presently employed at Snow Machinery Co., filling the vacancy created creat-ed when her sister, Marilyn, left on a mission to Denmark, on January 8. Both girls represent the . Roosevelt second ward. Ground-Breaking on Duchesne county's new fair building is expected to take place in the next few days, is an announcement announce-ment made by Max Hartman, : Duchesne, manager of the 1951 County Fair, and Allan Bond, I superintendent of grounds. Accoiding to Mr. Hartman, officials of Duchesne city, including in-cluding Mayor Otto Johnsen and Chester Lyman, laong with B. J. Jacoby and C. C. Mickel-son, Mickel-son, met with him and other members of the building committee, com-mittee, of which C. J. Mickel-son Mickel-son is chairman, and together they selected a site for the buildings, build-ings, which will be erected al the city park. Cleaning and leveling of the ground in preparation for the building will begin this week. According to Clint Mickelson, he has secured a commitment from the Young Farmers group that they will aid as much as possible in supplying the labor for the buildings. The Young Farmers were contacted at the reorganization meeting last week. When comple'ted, the buildings build-ings that are anticipated will house exhibits and livestock at future county fairs. |
