Show - Home Ceremony Unites JaNeil McKowen And Howard Gardner, February 7, 1956 NEOLA (Special) The home of Mrs. Zora Gardner was the scene of a wedding last Tuesday evening, when Miss JaNeil Mc-Kowan Mc-Kowan and Howard Gardner were united in marriage. The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Burns McKowan of Bennett, the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gardner. The ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate i families, with Bishop Clair Has-lem Has-lem of Bennett ward, officiating. The new Mrs. Gardner has been attending the Union High School, where she has been active in school affairs. Mr. Gardner is -a graduate of the Roosevelt High I School and has served in the Armed Forces in Japan and Korea. For her wedding the bride chose a white faille afternoon dress with ultra full skirt and red trim. It was designed with three-quarter three-quarter length sleeves and a V neckline with red facing. Red accessories' ac-cessories' and a corsage of red roses completed her ensemble. The newlyweds will be honored Friday night at a dance and reception re-ception at the American Legion Hall from 8:00 to 12:00 midnight. Music will be furnished by the bride's brothers, The' Utah Tune Rustlers of Salt Lake City. The public is cordially invited to attend. at-tend. Vows were pledged in Simple home rites at the Gardner home in Neola. A reception Friday evening will honor the newlyweds. |
