Show CONGRATULATIONS TO PROUD PARENTS Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Van Doorne, who are elated over the arrival of a new baby daughter, born Wednesday Feb. 8, at the Roosevelt Hospital. The little pink bundle weighed 10 lbs. 4 oz. at birth and wiil answer to "Laura Nell." She was anxiously anxious-ly greeted home by her brother, Mark, but proud father stiil hasn't seen his new daughter. He is at Officers' Training School at Ft. Benning, Ga. Grandparents, thrilled with the wee one are Mr. and Mrs Wm. R .Preece, Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van Doorne, Glen-dale, Glen-dale, Calif. Mr. and Mrs.. Lynn Labrum left Sunday for a two-week vacation trip to Oregon to visit Mrs. Lab-rum's Lab-rum's sister, Mazie Jackson, and family. They will continue' their trip to California to visit relatives and friends. Mrs. Labrum's mother. moth-er. Mrs. Miller of Springville, is here tending the children. BYU students home last weekend week-end we're Nancy Rockwood and Diane Nelson. Sporting a new Buick automobile automo-bile are the Wesley R. Dicker-sons. Dicker-sons. A two-tone 1956 model it is coral and tan. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Ferron and three children, Sally, Freddie and Susan, accompanied by Mrs. Fer-ron's Fer-ron's mother, Mrs. Agnes Frederick, Freder-ick, all of Minneapolis, arrived last Friday to visit several days at the Fred Ferron residence. They left Wednesday morning to visit in Pasadena, Calif., leaving Susan here with her grandparents until their return. Mr. and Mrs, Wesley R. Dicker-son Dicker-son and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Aycock planned to attend the Republican Re-publican dinner being held tonight at the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City. The Dickersons were' Provo visitors last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Heath and family visited relatives in Payson and Provo last weekend. Marvin Ol'droy'd, accompanied by Mrs. Old'royd, left Monday morning for Salt Lake City for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs, Paul Hardinger and family have moved to Range-ly. Range-ly. Colo., where Mr. Hardinger is working for an oil. company. Dr. and Mrs. D. G. Mantyla and children attended the Polio Smor-grasbord Smor-grasbord dinner held in Heber City, Saturday, Feb. 4. They were Salt Lake visitors last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Presley Timothy drove to Manti last Friday to attend at-tend the wedding of Jay Sorensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Sorensen Soren-sen of Scipio. They returned home Saturday. Dave Watkins is making an announcement an-nouncement this week his cow gave birth to twin calves last week. |
