Show School Attendance Props Slightly In Duchesne Oist. Average daily attendance in Duchesne Du-chesne county schools was slightly slight-ly less during the last four months of 1955 than it was during the first four months of the school term last year. The four-month average was 93.57 per cent in 1955 compared to 94.69 per cent in 1954. Supt. Rowan C. Stutz lists average av-erage daily attendance in the district dis-trict schools as 2,258.87 for Sap-tember, Sap-tember, or 95.67 per cent attendance; atten-dance; for October average, 2,-212.97, 2,-212.97, or 92.67 per cent; for November, No-vember, 2,184.20 average, or 93.90 per cent; for December, 2,096.84 average or 92.12 per cent. Neola Elementary School had the highest per cent of average daily attendance -in September. There was 97.64 per cent average daily attendance that month out of the 110 enrolled at Neola. Percentage Per-centage of attendance during the other three months at Neola during dur-ing this school' term was 95.77, 94.80 and 95.94, Duchesne High School led the attendance parade during the first half of the 1954-55 school term. In September the attendance' was 97.52 per cent;. 96.20 per cent for October, 97.17 per cent for November No-vember and 95.58 per cent during dur-ing December. A close runner-up for the attendance atten-dance record during this same period last year was the Duchesne Elementary School with monthly averages of 96.38 per cent, 97.44 per cent, 96.62 per cent and 96.13 per cent, Averages were cut this year because of epidemics of measles and other contagious diseases. |
