Show Activity Report Of S.C.D. Planned A rough draft of the annual report of the Uintah Basin Soil Conservation District was given at the January 30 meeting of the officers. of-ficers. Accomplishments of the district during the past year are to be released for publication during dur-ing February. At this meeting, Ray1 Borwn, district dis-trict supervisor from the Roosevelt Roose-velt area, reported he would be unable to attend the National Convention Con-vention for the Soil Conservation groups to be held Feb. 6-10 at Boston, and Harold Dudley and Marvin Smith reported that they planned to attend. All four district supervisors, Mr. Brown, Mr. Dudley, Mr. Smith and Wm. C. Foy indicated that they would attend the annual Convention Conven-tion of the State Association of Soil Conservation Districts at Salt Lake on Feb. 21-23. Audit Completed Mr. Foy, the newly appointed secretary-treasurer for the district, reports that an audit of the district's dis-trict's records has been completed by Wesley R. Dickerson. At the January 30 meeting of the' supervisors' for the district, the film, "Grass, the Elko Way," was shown. It is one of the conservation conserva-tion films being shown throughout the district during January and February in connection with the district's publicity program. |
