Show John ioycleii To Address County Demo Convention Next Saturday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m., has been set as the day and hour for. Duchesne County Democrats Demo-crats to meet in their re-organization convention at Duchesne. The meeting will be held in the courthouse. court-house. According to Elmer Yergensen, county chairman, all voting districts dis-tricts in the county should have held their own re-organization meetings and should have selected delegates to the county confab. At this time a new chairman, vice-chairwoman, vice-chairwoman, secretary -. treasurer and an executive committee will be elected. Keynote speaker at the convention conven-tion will' be John S. Boyden, prominent prom-inent Utah attorney and church leader, who was the first announced an-nounced candidate- for governor on either ticket. Two other Democrats have announced their' candidacy, one of which is Alonzo Hopkin, who was a speaker last night at the two-county dinner meeting held at the Frontier Grill Cafe in Roosevelt. Roosevelt Group Meets All officers for Roosevelt City's two districts were re-elected Monday' Mon-day' night and nine delegates chosen chos-en to the Saturday meeting. John Zupko remains as chairman, . with Mrs. Orvil Rudy, secretary, and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan as vice-chairwoman. vice-chairwoman. Delegates include Mr." Zupko, Mrs. Buchanan, James Hall, Bennie Schmiett, Wm. Ostler, Ted Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowman Bow-man and Gordon Harmston. No announced candidates have been reported for the county-chairman county-chairman post, which Mr. Yergensen Yergen-sen has held the past two years. His wife is secretary and Mrj.
