Show J Quarter Horse Is Bought By Local Horse Club The Roosevelt Riding Club has announced' through the' board of directors the purchase of a purebred pure-bred quarter horse stallion for 51500. The yearling colt, which is 'amed Poco Jim, comes from the Phillips Ranch at Frisco, Texas, and was purchased recently by Cecil "Doc" Jenkins at the Denver Livestock Show. E. P. Waggoner '' the seller, poco Jim is the only son of ?cco Bueno and is reputed to be best bred- quarter hourse in -tah. He is a half brother to Poco Lena, world's champion cutting 50rse, and is a brother to Poco Speedy. The young colt will not be a :ear old until next month, consequently conse-quently it will not stand at stud in 1957. He will be kept at :"e ranch of "Doc" Jenkins, east J Roosevelt, where anyone de-9ring de-9ring to see him may do so. I - 'V,.
